After a three-year break, the Tour of Austria returns to the international cycling calendar in July under a new name as the “Tour of Austria”.
In the future, the five Austrian Continental teams, namely Tirol KTM, Vorarlberg, Felbermayr Simplon Wels, Hrinkow Advarics and WSA KTM Graz, will act as organizers of the country’s largest cycling race. This was announced by their merger on Tuesday by invitation to a press conference on March 8 in Waidhofen/Ybbs.
The Tour of Austria 2023 will take place from July 2nd to 6th. All details will be announced during the presentation in Waidhofen/Ybbs, which will also be broadcast live on March 8th from 11:00 a.m. via ORF Sport Plus and k19.at.
